Solar Installation

Solar Installation & Savings

Solar over the years has become a hot topic. Companies looking to make a quick buck have unfortunately tarnished something capable of saving you so much money, and that's why we want to set the record straight. Solar CAN save you money if done correctly, with both eliminating a power bill and through tax credits*. Our team wants to thoroughly explain the benefits to solar to you, if it's a fit.

Save money with Solar

Tired of your power company raising rates every year? Solar helps fight inflation by keeping your bill consistent until it’s eventually non-existent.

Keeping it simple

Your satisfaction is our priority!

We'll be honest, not everyone qualifies for Solar. We won't try to sell you anything that won't save you money. Many companies have put a bad taste in customers mouth and we want to fix that!

Better Colors

Many people hate those Blue/silver panels from the early days of Solar. We use a Black on Black design that seamlessly fits any home.

Flexible Options

We work with lenders who offer a wide variety of options to help keep costs low, and within your budget.

So how does Solar work?

The misconception many companies out there portray is that Solar is free. Solar does cost money, both for materials and installation. However, most people finance these units at terms that keep their monthly payment at or below their current energy bill. This helps fight inflation since you will always know what your bill will be, even if power companies raise their rates. After the financing has been paid, or if paying cash, you essentially eliminate your power bill. Solar units also can raise the value of your home and could qualify for tax credits* that you can use to help pay it off sooner. Not everyone will benefit from Solar, it is not a miracle money saver, but we’re happy to show you if and how it would save you money!

*Tax credits are an estimated amount. As the purchaser and owner of a solar photovoltaic system, you may qualify for certain federal, state, local or other rebates, tax credits or incentives (collectively, “Incentives”). If you have any questions as to whether and when you qualify for any Incentives and the amount of such Incentives, please consult and discuss with your personal tax or financial advisor. Sky Guard Weather Solutions make no representation, warranty, or guaranty as to the availability or amount of such Incentives.

Asked Questions

Who qualifies for Solar?

Not everyone will benefit from Solar. The variables at play are how much sunlight your home gets, if trees block sunlight, your average energy usage, your utility company, credit score and if you have a taxable income.

We promise to be upfront, honest and explain your options diligently. We don't want to make a quick buck, we want to help people save money and if you don't qualify then we will tell you.

No, you will not. While each state, county and/or city has their own laws, it's generally required that your home still be connected to the grid. This will also protect you in the event of system failure, that you will still have power. Not only that, but if your utility company has a "buy back" program, you can receive bill credits for excess power that you send back to the grid.

Yes! With Solar becoming more common these days, most realtors know how exactly to handle it and we suggest speaking to them. Solar can increase the value of your home, so the increased equity can pay it off or even be transferred in some cases.
